Creating A Story of Hope!

Who We Are

The Santa Cruz County Youth Resource Bank (YRB) is a non-profit (501c 3), all-volunteer organization working with professionals in our community (social workers, teachers, and public health nurses) to meet the needs of vulnerable children and youth in Santa Cruz County. Since it’s incorporation in 1988, YRB has provided funding and items such as backpacks, sports equipment, school supplies, clothing, and so much more.

YRB believes that small things can make a big difference in the life of a child.

Urgent Request for Community Donations for Vulnerable Children
Join Us in Supporting Santa Cruz County’s Youth

Dear Community Members,

This year, the Youth Resource Bank will be participating in the Santa Cruz Gives campaign beginning November 19. Details will be available soon on our website.

We are reaching out now with an urgent request to help vulnerable children in our community. Many face daily hardships such as poverty, homelessness, or family instability that threaten their access to basic needs and safety. Last year we supported nearly 500 children and youth, and this year that number has already grown while our resources are running low.

When you donate to Youth Resource Bank, you’re not just giving—you’re investing in a child’s future and in the well-being of our entire community.  Your donation, no matter the amount, provides basic household items, clothing, sports equipment, tools for communication and transportation, as well as opportunities to join sports, educational classes, camps and essentials that restore dignity and hope. Together we can ensure no child is left without support.

To contribute please click on the purple Donate Now button at the top of this page.

Thank you for standing with us and with the children of Santa Cruz County.

The Power of Community. The Power of You.

With gratitude,
Youth Resource Bank
