Creating A Story of Hope!

Who We Are

The Santa Cruz County Youth Resource Bank (YRB) is a non-profit (501c 3), all-volunteer organization working with professionals in our community (social workers, teachers, and public health nurses) to meet the needs of vulnerable children and youth in Santa Cruz County. Since it’s incorporation in 1988, YRB has provided funding and items such as backpacks, sports equipment, school supplies, clothing, and so much more.

YRB believes that small things can make a big difference in the life of a child.

SANTA CRUZ GIVES CAMPAIGN

Children in Santa Cruz County are facing greater needs than ever beforeand together, we can make a difference.

We’re thrilled to share that the Santa Cruz County Youth Resource Bank (YRB) is part of this year’s Santa Cruz Gives campaign, a community initiative that connects local nonprofits with people who want to make a lasting impact.

Santa Cruz Gives, presented by Good Times and the Volunteer Center of Santa Cruz County, makes it easy to support dozens of local causes through one simple platform.

Every donation to YRB through Santa Cruz Gives is matched, doubling your impact and helping us reach even more youth in need. The more contributions we receive, the higher we appear in the campaign rankings—boosting visibility and connecting us with new supporters.

As an all-volunteer group of community professionals, 96% of every dollar goes directly to supporting local youth—removing barriers to their development, dignity, and well-being. When you give to YRB, you’re not just donating—you’re investing in a child’s future and in the strength of our entire community.
